Afghanistan Project Feed the Needy
'Feed the Needy' Project Each Ramadan, Islamic Relief aims helps those less fortunate enjoy the blessings of the Islamic holy month by providing food packs consisting of essential items such as sugar, rice, flour, milk powder, cooking oil, and other items, which differ according to the respective diets of each community.
However, due to the high interest and need for this project, Islamic Relief has extended this project in Afghanistan to be available outside of Ramadan. Islamic Relief will be distributing food packs in the Kabul and Kandahar provinces where Islamic Relief Afghanistan has offices and ongoing projects. Targeted beneficiaries include Internally Displaced People and Returnees, who live in partially demolished government buildings or in open air tents.
