Emergencies

Islamic Relief USA representative Naeem Muhammad assists with emergency aid distribution in Banda Aceh, Indonesia.

In view of the great number of wars, struggles, and natural disasters in many places in the world, Islamic Relief has developed emergency relief programs to support those seeking aid. It complies with the wishes of donors who extend their hands to help as soon as an emergency arises.

As a result of its experience, Islamic Relief has gained the trust of international organizations such as the World Food Program, the United Nations, The International Red Cross and other non-governmental organizations.

Aims of Emergency Projects

  • Ensure the minimum necessary requirements for victims of disasters like food, water and medical treatment.
  • Transferring supplies to the victims of emergency crises in the quickest time possible.
  • Plan with the international community the best means of delivering services to the victims.
