Younus Khan, a professional cricketer and former captain of Pakistan's national cricket team, was born on the 29th of November in the year of 1977. In February of 2000, in the city of Karachi, Khan made his international debut in One Day International (ODI) play against Sri Lanka; since then, he has played over 150 ODIs for Pakistan and 50 Test matches.
After becoming the top run-getter in the three to zero whitewash in Australia, Khan impressed the public with his intelligent, vigorous, and extremely motivating character; hence he was selected vice-captain thereafter. During Pakistan's victory over Bangladesh in the 2001 to 2002 Asian Test Championship, Khan obtained a world record of four catches in one inning: he is one of the only three Pakistani players to score 300 or more runs.
Alamgir, was born in 1954 and brought up in Shantinagar, Dhaka (previously Pakistan, now Bangladesh). He began his much-celebrated performing career in the early 70s at the age of fifteen, where he left Dhaka for Karachi, Pakistan to pursue higher education. Alamgir sung approximately 400 songs for television alone, produced 30 albums in 25 years of his career, and has traveled abroad to perform in 45 countries.
Currently, Alamgir resides in Atlanta, Georgia of United States, where he continues to research, record, and composes in his private studio, while engaging in special performances throughout United States and Canada.
